The Montana
The Montana Slip-On Loafer by La Leche pays tribute to the mountainous origins of its shoemakers - La Antigua Guatemala. Surrounded by towering volcanoes and rolling highlands, and in reference to the Spanish word "Montaña," these handmade slip-ons embody a natural aesthetic, resilience, and traditional craftsmanship.
Each pair is hand cut, hand sewn, and hand soled by skilled artisans, using only the finest full grain leather. The Goodyear welt construction ensures longevity and provides water resistance, while the natural cork filler and high resilience cushioning insoles mold to your feet for exceptional comfort.
Our shoes feature closed channel stitching, a technique where the master shoemaker lifts the leather sole by hand, stitches it, and seamlessly covers it, ensuring a sleek finish while protecting the stitching from wear.
Finalizing our process, each pair is fire-branded with our signature mark, furthering our commitment to traditional techniques and long-lasting handmade artisan dedication.
