I own a Subaru Ascent and the usb outlets are in the lower part of the center dash, but the compartment above these is too small to securely hold an iphone XSMax in a case. The phone slips out and there is no good location to secure it on trips. This pouch is a lifesaver. It goes around the shifter and hangs to the side of the console holding the phone securely and in a readily accessible location if needed. Perfect size and beautiful leather quality and workmanship. I highly recommend this if you have a vehicle that does not have a handy secure compartment to store a phone, and I personally do not use on dash phone holders. Get yourself one. Holds receipts and anything you need handy on a trip.
