Bifold Wallet

Nice leather, well cut and stitched. I was able to place 4 credit/ID cards in each side and 6 regular business cards. If you don’t carry as many cards as I do then it could be a thin wallet. With all the stuff I have it’s definitely bulky. Having said that I really like it. Aesthetically it’s simple but would fit in a business or everyday setting. The leather is decent quality and seems durable. I like the perfect imperfections in the grain and coloring. I’d definitely buy again.

I've been using this wallet for a couple weeks now, and I'm generally quite pleased with it. The rustic leather has a great look and feel, and the craftsmanship seems solid. The wallet has a pleasant leathery scent, and the stitching appears tight and well-done. I also appreciate the soft, supple texture of the leather. The edges aren't burnished, so take that as you may.

One thing that I was disappointed in was that the wallet was shipped in a plain plastic bag. I'd heard about Hide & Drink being known for packaging their products in nicer bags so that was a disappointment. While it isn't a major issue in the long run, and the bag seemed sealed with care, it's a small change that shows a decline in attention to detail.

I've also noticed some tool marks and a logo around the edges inside of my wallet. While they don't affect the overall functionality, they are a bit odd to see and also a little disappointing.

After all is said and done I'd recommend this wallet to others who appreciate a rustic look and feel. However, potential buyers should be aware of the packaging, and the possible imperfections.

Edit: Upon further contemplation I've come to wonder if the person who created my particular wallet left the logo intentionally to identify the tannery to the user, which if that is the case would be pretty cool in my opinion. However, I haven't been able to identify what the logo is for so I can't be sure.

I had ordered this wallet a couple months ago and carried it everyday and the leather started to get a nice worn look but then the stitching’s started to come out after only a few months and there’s no where to contact them about their so called 101 year warranty

I'll have to say, when I first came across the Hide & Drink leather products, I was impressed with the quality look. What makes their products even more pleasing, is that they're hand crafted. It didn't take long after my first purchase, to make another....then another....And now the wife is hooked and has made a couple of purchases. We are looking forward to shopping their product line for upcoming Christmas gifts...

Bought this as I love wallets and am always on the lookout for a new one. I bought from Hide and Drink before so I was excited to see this minimalist front pocket wallet for myself.
When it arrived I was happy to see that it was nice and think leather! Not the cheap thin stuff you see from some other companies. The smell and feel are awesome. I loaded it up and fit 6 cards comfortably. I wouldn’t go more than that as it bulks up too much (thick leather and all). The cards come out rather easily but still feel secure. Only time will tell is they stay that way.
Where I felt like it was a bit rough is in the siding. The edges of the entire wallet are unfinished and feel like they may flake off a bit with regular use. If they were to polish and finish off the edges on this thing… it would be perfect!
