I wear suits for work and tuxedos for ballroom dance events, fundraisers and other formal events, so I wear braces on the regular. When I needed replacement leather attachments for the button strap, I found these. Fantastic!
Excellent leatherwork, smells like a new car, function perfectly and the customer service team is top notch. Bought these multiple times. Had one order get lost in the mail and they replaced it immediately!
Don't tell anyone that I told you this hack: Find inexpensive clip on suspenders online, in a pattern that you love and buy them. (Bear in mind that the elastic ones stretch so they will pull your shirt out and look sloppy.) Select silk or another non-stretch fabric, even if they have alligator clips, and they will still look great. All you do is cut the alligator clip off and slide a new leather piece in its place... Voila! You have now upgraded from an inexpensive $20 set of (children's) suspenders to $100 gentleman's braces for the less than half the price. Done this a few times. Saving money while looking good is fun. As Tom Ford says, "dressing well is a form of good manners". Upgrade your style with quality leather products and repair vs replace. You may find a nice set in a thrift or vintage store and these replacements will make them like new.
