I like this apron. I also like the leather smell. This apron is well made and well stitched and so far there have been no issues with the neck buckle staying buckled. This apron really helps block the heat from the grill nicely too. At first the apron is stiff but with use it softens. Overall this is a great griller and smokers apron.
For the price you’d think the belt style buckle that allows you to adjust how high or low it hangs around your neck would actually keep the strap in place. The strap pops out of the buckle with hardly any movement. I guess it needs to be tied in a knot. Other than that it’s not terribly heavy so would be comfortable to wear while grillin or arc welding.
This leather apron is amazing. It is thick leather, smooth to the touch, a lovely deep dark brown and tooled perfectly. I is going to take it awhile, many wearings to become softer and adjust to the wearers body. I am soooo happy with this and my sweetie is going to be blown away with the quality and craftsmanship. The price point in below what I would have expected but we are the beneficiaries of that. This is a working apron, one that will protect its wearer for years and years. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Looks very sturdy and well made. I love the color and thickness of the leather. It also has that new leather smell, which is nice. I'm quite chubby and it still fit comfortably for me. The one and only complaint I have is that there isn't a buckle on the waist ties. . The thickness and and width of the ties made it tricky to actually tie it and keep it tied. The pockets are of a nice size and overall a great price for being leather. (Looks exactly as pictured on the discription page).
This is a great apron for barbeque. I'm sure it would stand in for other hot activities, though it is probably not long enough for blacksmithing.
The apron is well made, with solid stitching and a buckle for the neck strap. It even smells like leather stores used to. It takes weatherproofing treatment just fine and is comfortable even when a large bed of charcoal is glowing. I haven't used the pockets much, at least so far, but that is personal preference. In addition, the leather apron looks very classy and gets me a few notices when I use it.
I can certainly recommend this to any serious event griller, game day tailgater, or home barbeque master.
