Quality sheath

If you keep your axes sharp as I do this is a must have. No chance of injury with this in place when transporting your axe.

Solid sheath for large axe

I got this to cover a 4lb single bit axe that I restored from a rusty shop, I had purchased several different sheaths locally and cold never find one that fit right. This one fits perfectly and I couldn't be happier with the price and thus far the quality. The leather isn't terribly thick, but its equivalent to a hults bruk sheath that came with one of my smaller axes, therefore I figure it will do the job. I don't expect the leather cord to last forever, as all the ones I have seem to break no matter from what brand, but its easy enough to use paracord or bungee cord.

The main thing I ned from this guard was to keep the sharp edge protected during travel, and it seems that this will do the trick wonderfully.
